“This EP is a small taster of my skills as a producer and beat-maker. I am heavily influenced by film score and composers as well as electronica and beat-driven genre’s/artists so I wanted to make a 5 track palette of short and punchy tracks that evoke a range of emotions and hit hard in their delivery.”

FURIO, the emerging artist from the underground music scene, has just released his latest single "SLANKY (Bad Boys)" and it's already making waves. The track, which showcases FURIO's raw talent and unique style, is a must-listen for fans of hip hop and trap music.

The concept behind the track was to create a sense of fractured beauty. The main chopped synth embodies that and compliments the fragile, piano chords and strings. The rhythm of the track is more trap-based to give it movement and more dynamic textures.

“This was made in the dead of summer just after everything was opening back up post-COVID, and I wanted to make something that was fun and playful but dark at the same time, and something that would pop and thump, as well as having a nod to all the Baile funk I was listening to at the time.”

This sets the pace for the journey. The long journey into the cosmos is just beginning. Starting with the drone and atmosphere one is quickly bought into an unsettling environment. Where will this mission take us physically and sonically? Bloom gives an ounce of hope in our current unsettling times.
